Description

The Combat Application Tourniquet™ (C-A-T™) is a compact bandage system for temporary blood barrier on the extremities.

The CAT Gen7 Tourniquet is manufactured in the USA by CAT Resources. Contrary to popular opinion it is not made by North American Rescue, they are just the USA authorised distributor.

The C-A-T has an individual size adjustment to be able to be attached to all extremities – combined with a one-hand winch system.

The winch system uses a freely movable, inner band to prevent the inflow of arterial blood to a limb. To fix the tourniquet, you only need one hand: The C-A-T™ has a Velcro fastener to ensure a secure fixation of the band during transport.
